Your city and Discover
I don't see anyone in my city. Discover shows healthcare travelers in your area. Check your current city in Profile › Edit Profile, or switch the toggle at the top of Discover to Everywhere. New cities take a few travelers to get busy, so invite the people on your unit.
How do I change my city? Profile › Edit Profile › Current City. If Live Location is on (Settings › Location), your city updates by itself as you travel. Turn it off to set it by hand.
How do I meet people before I get there? Add your next assignment in Profile › Edit Profile. Discover then gets a segment for your next city, so you can connect before you land.
Can people see exactly where I am? No. Scrub Social only ever shows your city, never your exact location.
Crews
What's a crew? Your people on Scrub Social. Tap Add to Crew on someone's profile; once they accept, you'll find each other in the Network tab.
Events
How do I make an event? Events, then the teal + button. Add a cover photo, time and place, and choose who can see it. Everyone who's going gets an event chat with the host.
How do I share an event? Open the event and tap Share. The link opens the event in the app, or shows a preview for people who don't have it yet.
Messages
Can I message a group? Yes. Messages › compose, then pick several people. Groups can have up to 50 people and their own name and photo.
How do I delete a message? Press and hold it. Delete for me removes it from your phone only. Delete for everyone works on your own messages for 15 minutes after you send them.
Can I turn off read receipts or my online dot? Yes: Settings › Privacy › Send Read Receipts and Show Activity Status.
Notifications
I'm not getting notifications. Check Settings › Notifications in the app, then make sure Scrub Social is allowed in your phone's own Settings › Notifications. You can choose messages, crew requests and event updates separately.
Safety
Someone is bothering me. Open their profile or your conversation, tap …, then Block or Report. Blocked people can't see you or contact you. Reports are reviewed within one business day. See our Safety Tips for meeting up in person.
Your account
How do I change my password? Settings › Change Password. If you signed in with Apple or Google, you manage your password there.
How do I delete my account? Settings › Delete Account. It permanently removes your profile, messages, posts, events and login. You can also request deletion on the web.
The app asks me to update. Tap Update to get the newest version from the App Store or Google Play. Older versions sometimes have to be retired to keep everyone's messages working.
